I’m a digital strategy leader with more than 20 years of experience creating and transforming web, digital, and user experiences. My work brings together enterprise web strategy, UX, information architecture, SEO, analytics, accessibility, and AI to solve complex problems and create measurable results.
At the University of Illinois Springfield, I lead web and digital strategy across more than 160 department websites, the UIS mobile app, and emerging digital initiatives. I directed the redesign and migration of uis.edu, transforming the university’s digital presence through a new information architecture, design system, content strategy, and Drupal platform.
More recently, my work has expanded into AI strategy, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), personalization, and automation. I enjoy exploring how emerging technologies can solve real problems, improve digital experiences, and help organizations prepare for how people will discover and interact with information next.
My background spans design, development, marketing, UX, and technology, giving me the ability to move between strategy and execution and communicate effectively with executives, marketers, designers, developers, and technical teams.

This chapter presents a framework for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into inclusive digital learning environments, emphasizing accessibility, personalization, and equity for diverse learners, including those with disabilities, language barriers, and neurodiverse conditions. Grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) (CAST, 2025), culturally responsive pedagogy, Human-Centered AI (HCAI), Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), and the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) AIED Governance Framework, which introduces a five-dimensional model to guide institutions in aligning AI with inclusive practices. The framework operationalizes AI adoption across institutional, pedagogical, and ethical domains, offering practical strategies, role-based guidance, and case examples. It also addresses ethical and legal considerations to ensure alignment with institutional values and regulations, supporting systemic change toward more learner-centered digital education. Published January 2026.
